I had a pleasant stay at Moevenpick Hotel Wellington, where the staff was friendly and attentive, but I faced issues with the room's space and noise levels. While the hotel has great access to the nearby Cuba Street, I found the walk back uphill quite challenging. Although the breakfast was decent, I felt it could have offered more variety. Overall, the experience was enjoyable, yet there were areas for improvement. 😊

My room was comfortable, but quite cramped and lacked adequate space for my belongings. I also struggled with noise from the pool area.

Location

The hotel's location was convenient, being just a short walk from Cuba Street, but the steep hills made it challenging to navigate at times.
Dining

The breakfast was good, but I would have appreciated more fresh fruit options. The coffee service was a bit slow too.
Facilities

The hotel offered decent amenities, but I found the parking charges excessive and would have liked larger lifts for easier access.

I had a pleasant stay at Moevenpick Hotel Wellington, enjoying the modern vibe and friendly staff. However, my room was a bit small, which made it challenging to move around comfortably. The hotel's location is great for exploring the vibrant Cuba Street, but the parking fee felt a bit steep. Overall, a good experience with room for improvement.

The hotel's location was convenient, just a short walk to Cuba Street's eateries and bars. It made for easy exploration of the city.
Dining

I found the dining options a bit disappointing. the breakfast prices seemed high for the quality, and I expected better for the cost.

The hotel had nice facilities like a pool and sauna, although I didn't utilize them during my stay. Valet parking was a nice touch but at an extra cost.

I had a fantastic stay at Moevenpick Hotel Wellington, enjoying the warm and friendly service right from check-in. The room was comfortable, though I felt some improvements could be made regarding coat hooks and bathroom layout. The location was convenient for exploring, but the noise levels from above could be bothersome. Overall, I would return, but I hope for a quieter experience next time.

Rooms
8.0
The room was clean and comfortable, featuring twin beds that were smaller than most but very cozy. I appreciated the USB chargers and a safe that could fit a laptop, but I missed having more hooks for wet jackets and towels in the bathroom. The sliding door design could use some work too.
Service
10.0
The staff was excellent-friendly and genuinely interested in making my stay pleasant. They offered cookies on arrival, which was a nice touch, and were always cheerful, even in a busy hotel environment.
Location
8.0
The location was great, not too far from Cuba Street and walkable into the city center, though it was uphill on the way back. It's handy, but having to Uber could add up over time.
Dining
7.0
The breakfast options were enjoyable but pricey, costing $35 per person. I found the dining area pleasant with nice views, but the chocolate hour seemed a bit chaotic during my visit, which felt like a missed opportunity.
Facilities

I loved the small gym and the adjacent pool area, which was quite spacious. Having a sauna nearby was a bonus, and it felt well equipped for unwinding after a day of exploring.

I spent three nights at Moevenpick Hotel Wellington and found it to be conveniently located with a friendly atmosphere. Although my room was generally comfortable, the low ceilings and a few minor service hiccups left some room for improvement. I'd definitely consider returning on my next visit.

Rooms
9.0
My room was spacious enough for two people and well-appointed, though the ceilings were quite low, which was a slight drawback.
Service

The staff provided professional and friendly service during my stay, although I did experience a brief incident where a cleaner entered my room without knocking.
Location

The hotel is well-placed for walking to the city center, but the return involves a bit of a climb, which could be challenging for some.
Dining

I enjoyed the breakfast but found it could be better. The coffee machine was a bit temperamental, which was frustrating during my mornings.

The facilities, including the gym and pool, were nice additions, and I appreciated the valet parking service, although it came at a cost.

I had a pleasant stay at the Movenpick Hotel Wellington, marked by friendly service and a clean, modern atmosphere. The location is good, just a short walk from the vibrant Cuba Street, but the steep hills can be a bit challenging. My room, while cozy, felt a bit small with limited storage. Overall, it offers good value for what you pay, especially compared to other options in London.

Rooms
7.0
The room was modern and exceptionally clean, though it was smaller than I expected, which made managing my luggage a bit tricky. I also noticed some clunking noises from the air conditioning unit outside my room.
Service
8.0
The service throughout my stay was fantastic. Everyone I encountered was eager to help, and I really appreciated the warm welcome at reception. In particular, one staff member went out of his way to provide me with recommendations on what to see around Wellington.
Location
7.0
I found the location to be pretty convenient, about a 5-minute walk from Cuba Street, but the return journey back from the city requires climbing steep hills, which can be tiring. It does give you a taste of real Wellington though, with lovely local views.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience at the hotel was quite good overall. I enjoyed the restaurant, though I was disappointed that some popular dishes were already sold out early in the evening. The breakfast offered was really impressive and definitely worth mentioning!
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were competent with room service, housekeeping, and valet parking available, but the noise from other rooms and the corridors was a bit distracting during my stay. There were also issues with the bathroom, specifically the lack of sufficient hanging space for wet towels.
